Course on Survival and Orienteering techniques to a Multinational company of the United States

         

This course on "SURVIVAL for Wilderness Areas" was taught by Gabriel Esquivel, Director of NORTHLATITUDE and was given through a previous theoretical class at the La Paloma Equestrian Club and the practice was carried out in a private wilderness area located near of the theory, both places located in the Ezeiza city, Buenos Aires province. The same was taught to a well-known MULTINACIONAL Technology company of the United States with students comprised by professionals like geographers and a biologist from Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Chile and Argentina attended the course. The objective was to train them in the survival matter, especially in survival techniques aimed in natural environments, related to the construction of stretchers in First Aid, construction of an area to make “land-air” Signaling, Shelters, obtaining of water and wild food, methods for making Fire, diurnal Orientation (crossing) with compasses, topographic maps reading and other natural methods, etc. A very well-prepared group where leadership, teamwork, friendship and goal, was fulfilled in a timely manner. Under completion of it, the students received their certificates of courses that credited their participation in it.
