Collaborator of courses of Survival for Extreme Wild Environments and Bushcraft.
He is not an instructor at NORTHLATITUDE.

Studies and titles

Robert Hill is a Bushcraft Co-Founder, Chief Instructor and also is a qualified mountain/expedition leader with over 25 years of experience. Formally being in the English navy as sailor, he has worked in some of the harshest terrains on earth, such as Antarctica, Himalayas, the Jungles of Central America, Andes, North America, Patagonia and has visited countries like Panama, Costa Rica, Columbia, Honduras, Mexico, Cuba, Nicaragua, USA, Canada Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, Sweden, UK, Ireland, Austria, Italy,  Morocco, Nepal, Spain, France, Belgium, Hungary, Holland, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Malta, Switzerland, Portugal. Rob grew up in various countries mainly the Black forest (Germany), Panama, Spain and the UK during his career in the navy. He is of English, Scottish and East Prussian heritage and speak fluent Spanish, English and German languages and can defend himself with another 4 languages. He is also fiercely proud of his ties to the Hispanic world and his children being mestizo and Panamanian.

In 2020 he led the expedition for a successful world record challenge in the Atacama Desert (Andes) in Chile. Recently Rob has been living and working with indigenous people in South America, Argentina and the Ache people of Paraguay and Brazil.

Rob delivers a wide variety of Bushcraft experiences and leads our team with experience, knowledge and passion. When the Bushcraft Camp is having a rest, Rob works on increasing his own skills and knowledge in different parts of the world.
